The thundering roar ceased,
it came and passed in twenty short minutes,
the sky was blackened with Atomic vapours and
dust,
the clock of time stood still,
the Earth's motion as well,
then,
the Earth moved,
time passed once more,
yet
every living thing on the face of the Earth was DEAD!
MAN has succeeded.
MAN had
created.
MAN has destroyed.
