The morning started out like any
other They said their goodbyes at the gate He said not to worry if he’s not on time He said that he might be late.
She kissed their child
asleep in her bed And told her it’s time to
arise She said that today was Thursday And soon the school bus would arrive
I miss him, they miss him,
we miss him He’s gone and he’s left us all
alone She never had the chance to tell him
goodbye her Daddy wont be coming home.
Their son was downstairs in
the kitchen His breakfast disappearing with
haste He wanted to meet with his girlfriend He didn’t have much time to waste
I miss him, they miss him,
we miss him He’s gone and he’s left us all
alone He never had the chance to tell him
goodbye His Daddy wont be coming home.
Her chores all were done she
was ready To put her feet up, coffee's on On the radio the DJ was crying Tower One WTC now was gone
Her blood ran so cold as she
heard it The coffee pot fell to the floor Her husband right now would be working Up there on the ninety-ninth floor
I miss him, they miss him,
we miss him He’s gone and he’s left us all
alone They never had the chance to tell him
goodbye Their Daddy wont be coming home.
 For those who
were taken and to those who are left behind. Thurdsay, 11 September 2001. They will always be
remembered
